Colleges generally have separate scholarships for first-time freshmen and transfer students. As a result, any scholarships you earned from colleges on RaiseMe during high school can only be redeemed when you enroll at that college as a first-time freshman, unless otherwise specified by the college.
If you chose to enroll at a community college or a four-year university before transferring to another four-year university, you are eligible to start earning transfer scholarships on RaiseMe that count toward the four-year universities’ transfer scholarship programs.
If you transfer to a university that awarded you scholarships during high school but does not offer transfer scholarships on RaiseMe, note that a few universities may choose to honor part or all of the scholarships you earned during high school. You can log into your high school account to check the eligibility requirements on their RaiseMe profile page. If you're still unsure, it is best to contact their financial aid department as the micro-scholarships are from the school themselves.
Note that if you enroll at a community college or four-year university but don’t complete a certain number of credit hours (may depend on your state and the university, you may still be treated as a first-time freshman when you transfer to a four-year university.
