Is RaiseMe only for US students?

At this time, only students who attend school (high school or college) in the United States can sign up to earn scholarships on RaiseMe (with a few exceptions).

I'm an international student at a high school in the United States

During signup, you'll be asked if you are a US citizen or permanent resident. It's important to answer this question because some scholarships are only available to US citizens, and others are available to only international students. Most colleges offer the same micro-scholarships regardless of status!

If you didn't fill out this information during signup, go to your Account Settings to update it!

RaiseMe cannot support classes or activities taken outside the US, but you can enter any/all information from your current high school.

I'm a DACA student

DACA students can sign up and earn on RaiseMe, but each college has different policies on citizenship and who can earn scholarships towards their school. Go into your  Account Settings and make sure your citizenship status is correct. Then, the RaiseMe portal will only show your earnings for the colleges where you qualify for aid. 

I don't live in the United States

If you are at school in Puerto Rico or on US soil overseas (like an Army base) then you are eligible for RaiseMe.

RaiseMe also can be used by international students at a limited number of eligible non-U.S. high schools. These schools span over 600 cities and 150 countries. To see if you're eligible, click here.

I took classes outside of the US but I'm graduating from a US high school

If your classes taken outside the US are going to appear on your transcript when you graduate from a US school, you may enter those courses in your Portfolio. 

Does RaiseMe partner with international colleges?

Yes! RaiseMe has international partners in the UK and Canada, though that doesn't impact the eligibility of prospective students, who still need to be graduating from school in the US in order to use RaiseMe.
