Earning Deadline
An Earning Deadline is the day that your earnings will be locked in and a college will be sent the proper information for all seniors who are Following them. A senior student must Follow a college by the earning deadline, so RaiseMe can submit them automatically. Students may manually self-submit prior to the submission deadline if they would like. All other eligibility requirements must also be met by this date.
Where can I see the earning deadline?
-
The college’s profile page: your senior year, you’ll see the earning deadline under the “Requirements” tab.
-
Your Portfolio: 30 days before the deadline you’ll see a red flag on all colleges you’re Following that have an upcoming earning deadline.
-
College Search: Looks a little different senior year! All those deadlines are the earning deadlines. The super close ones are red.
If a college you follow has an earning deadline that has passed, you will see it on the right-hand side of your Portfolio, as well as the college's page.
What happens if the earning deadline has passed?
Our college partners set a specific earnings deadline, which can be as early as August or as late as April. Once the earning deadline passes, RaiseMe is not able to submit any more information to the college. Additionally, If a student has already applied and/or been accepted to a college, RaiseMe is no longer the right resource for seeking scholarships, and cannot supply additional funds to students (because we don't offer direct scholarships.)
Please note, the earnings deadline and application deadline are often different. For more information, please check out this article about application deadlines.
I am a senior, but the earning deadline is early in the year. Can I still enter my senior year courses?
Yes, you can add your courses at any time! If you add your courses in before receiving a grade, please make sure to go back later in the year to add your official grades. Please keep in mind that once the earning deadline passes, RaiseMe is not able to submit any more information to the college. For example, if a college you're following has an earning deadline of 12/1, any courses or achievements added after this date will not count towards earnings.

Am I still able to go back in and add my SAT scores after the 9/1 deadline?
When do college's reopen their earning period? And if so even if we're accepted can we still send money for scholarships through RaiseMe?
